WINDHAM, Maine — Animal control in Windham is investigating an awful case of animal cruelty.

Corrina Kellam said she thought her cat Perry broke his leg while roaming the neighborhood Mother's Day weekend.

An X-ray showed Perry had been shot through the stomach, with the bullet lodged in his hind leg.

I am going with attempted suicide for being named Perry.
