Concealed Carry at Portland Sea Dogs games?

I may take the kids to their first ball game this month. I've never been to Hadlock field. Does anyone have firsthand info about carrying concealed at the games?

Specifically, 1) if it's prohibited in any way and 2) whether there is any search of your person (e.g., wands, metal detectors, etc.) I presume they may search backpacks and whatnot for food, cans and bottles...but I can live with that.

I carried into the ball park for a game last year. There is no law against it but it is private property. I did not see any signs asking you not to carry. Like in the malls if they discover you are on their property with a gun they can ask you to leave, you must or you can be arrested for trespassing. But you are not breaking the law just fo CCW on their property. I did not get searched at the gate and there was no problem. We had to park pretty far away and the walk back to the car was a little sketchy so I am glad I carried.
