Confirmed: ATF's New Rules Regarding Gun Trusts Delayed Until 2015!

IMO, it only qualifies as 'good news'... Great news would have been no additional regulations for the next 100 years and reversing a lot of the stupid ones already on the books...

Perhaps I was too exuberant. But, it is great news for those folks that haven't yet had the opportunity to set up their trust. It should also be noted that the new rules aren't certain to take effect at all. There is a great deal of opposition to them.

True... I plan on setting up a trust soon... Or at least sometime this year.

Guess maybe I'll actually get my outstanding tax stamps back before the rules change.

The relevant ATF publication regarding 41P "Final Action " date is here.

Now if they'd just re-open eForms for non-dealers, I'll really have a cause to celebrate.

no shiiiit, i would love to be able to check on my current form, i'd also be willing to throw down on moar items if i knew i could e-file them.

only the government could **** up a website in the year 2014.

If you have an eForm already in the system, you can log in to check on the status. But not today, because for the ATF the internet is closed on Wednesdays between 6am and 6pm.
