Dan Wesson Model?

I just picked up a Dan Wesson .357 mag and am not sure what model it is. I think it's a 15, but not sure. It's kind of difficult to determine the way they are listed in the Blue Book and Standard Catalogue of Firearms. It has a very nice blue finish, 6 inch barrel, heavy shroud and vent rib, with adjustable rear sight and red ramp front, non checkered wooden grips with the "DW" on them. It is a beautiful piece, but I need to know what model it is, because there are large variations in value. As far as I can tell, it might be worth 350.00, or it might be worth 700.00! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Sounds like a Model 15. they had I believe a Model 14 too. More of a service gun. Where was it made, Monson, Palmer or New York?

I had one also; great gun, super accurate. If the barrel nut is recessed, it's a model 15VH (vented heavy).
