my guess would be - it is probably a new way for chinese to scam amazon. they just send a postcard to alaska instead of a package to correct destination, and close the listing.

but, a whole upper with bolt and handle for under $300 is good. barrel will need to be re-torqued and upper lapped, but it is all doable. barrel nut on a bear creek is most likely not lubed also.
even if you swap out a barrel, still a good deal.
te each his own, anyway. the modularity of AR platform is an amazing benefit when you have multiple identical uppers and lowers from the same brand. it all then 'just works' and is perfectly interchangeable. you can do same with a brand mix too, but it will take a bit more effort.
