Deals and steals

Not really. In fact, I think all of the "gunplay" seemed quite realistic to me, with some very cool old rifles and pistols, and almost as much rifle usage as there was pistol.

I don't know how much of the details of the series is factual or not, but I'm quite shocked at how Billy is portrayed; I had no idea!

Frank
Sorry poor phrasing

Billy was a gunplay nerd... he was all about practice and what not I'm curious if they portray him that way

I don’t know if these are a great deal, but they’re pretty cool:

120mm Ammo Can (PA-154)
You can get them for a bit less each from Ammocanman.com, if you spend more than $99 to qualify for free shipping. Shipping is always the potential killer on ammo cans.

The 120 are good cans for caching, but get annoying for regular access storage - too deep to easily access the whole can. If you're looking for ways to pad your order to over $99, check out the Fat Fifty cans. Those will hold 30rd AR mags vertically. 40mm cans stack really well, and can get really heavy too.

said standard shipping to 02482 $11.99 so why pick it up?
Because a lot shipping damage complaints in reviews with people stuck with it after. BTW it is Made In Mexico. When I pulled the sticker off the front it took the paint off. Looks like poor paint prep with water spots and rust in them. Same on the inside. Assembling the shelves and dividers is a pain. Still a good value. Just a heads up.

I thought stack-on was supposed to be one of the good brands. But it actually looks cheaper than the 4 gun cabinet I bought from (shhh) Cabela's. And no crap about 'just 4' guns, I'm just getting started. :)

Ive got 2 stack ons. One is the item above. One is a double cabinet. It will keep the kids out but not a half decent theif.
Take their gun "capacity" and cut it in half or less, unless you dont care about guns smashing into each other, getting dinged up, or having to remove 2-3 tonget at the one you want.
I got ine of mine used, one on clearance from Dicks or Sports authority. Both paid under 100. Not sure they are worth 180.
Btw i got a HON commercial 3 drawer wide file cabinet, for free on the side of the road. I cleaned it, lubed it up, new key and painted it. Far more solid and holds way more stuff. Except long guns.

Paying for pinned metal mags... is that really a deal?

Their quality has gone down. There are tabs on the hinge side to keep the door from being pried off. If it doesn't have it the hinge is very flimsy. The metal is relatively thin. People comment that it is better for ammo storage.

Actually a jobsite box is way more sturdy and secure than the stack on. Possibly could stand it upright rather than a chest style.

Their "safes" are much higher quality than their "cabinets". These cabinets are built like a mid-grade filing cabinet. 16g steel, wafer lock, and flimsy shelves. I keep ammo in mine, and it's fine for that purpose.

no one posted it yet but it is actually an amazon prime day today, and some - not all - prices are indeed lower a bit.

Amazon has been doing a lot of "mark it up to mark it down" lately. Its actually a bit out of control.

The platform is also increasingly just a reseller for AliExpress. I still use it a lot to get staple items delivered, but its definitely gone downhill.
