Deals and steals

Only the best Beretta ever made

I had one. Bought it as an investment purchase that I intended to keep for a while.

Absolutely beautiful finish on it.

Paid $2500 around 2005. Ended up selling it much earlier than I had planned, for what I paid for it.

I think they are going for $6K or more now....

How is this company's scopes?
Anyone know if this particular one is any good?
And, is it a good deal? Is that 30% off of $279.99?

i posted about other one, 1-6x. arkens are ok for the price. this 1-8x is FFP, so, it may or may not work for you depending upon your preferences. for a cheap simple lpvo the 1-6x is better, as it has larger FOV and is, well, cheaper. and SFP as well, so reticle is not changing.

COSTCO: In-Store (Waltham) and Online. Can't speak to other warehouses in the area:

Nashua as well. They also had the rifle case in black and tan.

West Springfield, MA Costco had backpacks in black, and the 42 inch rifle bags in black and tan today.

I have a LH-4 6-24x50 and I’m really really please with it. There are a ton of in depth reviews on the you tubes but they do sponsor quite a few people so some maybe biased.

$279.99 is after the 30% discount.

FWIW I have a cheap primary arms branded LPVO that I’m really pleased with as well. 1-6x24 was just under $200.

Arken makes good scopes for the money. They tend to be a bit bigger and heavier (on the non-LPVO side), but they track really well. They have a very satisfying click to be felt and heard when dialing up for fun at longer ranges.

The problem is in pricing. Going back a little over a year ago they would offer 25% off a few times per year, and when they did the scopes came in at a really good price. Between the discount and points back, I picked up four scopes and got the rings mostly for free afterwards. About six months ago, they started offering "special 25% off " pricing all the time, which means that's their regular pricing. (And for the record, it's far more than their old 25% off deals!) Long story short, the prices shown on the site these days are after the discount is applied.

Last November I ordered an SH4 with rings and the cost was $284 shipped.

Tonight, the same scope with rings after discount runs $357.

This one sold through Rock Island Auctions at about this time last year, but you would have to have (or create) an account to see the realized auction price.

includes the buyer's premium. But not shipping

What are the “Prices Realized”?

Prices realized are the final prices for items that have been sold at auction. This usually includes the price the item hammer for during the auction, plus the buyer’s premium. Prices Realized are often the figures distributed after an auction because they accurately reflect what someone was willing to pay to own the item.

It is actually $25 less than this price for me, in the cart. Amazon is having a $25 off $100+ "sports and outdoors" sale.
