I have a AR15 lower picked out for my SBR build.
Can I go to the gunshop and buy it for myself like any other lower?
Once I have it, do I need to transfer it the Trust so I can submit Form 1?
Do I need to have the FFL transfer to to the Trust?

The trust should include an "Assignment Sheet" or some other method of assigning property to the trust. You assign the lower to the trust using that. You don't need an FFL to do it.

I have that but I was wondering if I need to report that transfer to Mass.

No. A stripped lower is not a gun by MA law, and thus transfers of stripped lowers, even between different people, do not need to be reported.

If I get the lower from a FFL, can he transfer it from his bound book to me?

I guess he can but does not need to do a FA-10.

Yes and yes. A MA FFL who understands MA law will not require an FA10 to transfer a stripped lower to you. Some MA FFLs do an FA10 on stripped lowers, it is best to avoid them.

When they do that do they fill out a 4473 and do a background check?

I do have a LTC.

So how do you fill out an efa10 for a lower built into a trust sbr?

Should I efa10 it to myself when built?

There is a link for "Registration" on the eFA10 site, fill that one out. I think it still asks for seller info, just leave it all blank.
