Exploding pagers

That's also misleading, as the pagers weren't "packed", they just replaced a fraction of the active ingredients of the batteries to ensure that the pagers would stand up to scrutiny -- they had to keep enough electrolyte in the battery for it to still function, mostly, as a battery (and then briefly as an ignition source).

I would take this as they had the idea of exploding comms devices 15 years ago and played with what and how. This action was so dependent on specific situations there is no way they planned the whole thing that long ago.

This says that one had to push two buttons at the same time yet one of the first videos that came out was a guy at a market and the pager on his hip blew up. No two handed operation there....
You don’t need two hands to push two buttons..

Putting explosives in their own guns from their own factory pretty much makes zero sense

Only if you bought one in Canada (the US models are assembled by IWI-US in Pennsylvania, with a number of US made parts).

There were two separate signals available. One was the two-hand-button signal, the other just blew the sucker up.

I'm guessing they sent the button one first, then the non-button one about fifteen seconds later to catch the rest.

He's right.

Someone has to take all of those dangerous Israeli weapons out of the hands of innocents before they blow up. I will step up to the task at hand. Just let me know what you need to get rid of and I will take it. I will even provide $25 & $50 gift cards to Olive Garden to compensate you for the traumatic experience.

LOL, I have a Jericho 941 pistol...it has yet to blow up on me...but then I bought it ten (or more) years ago. Maybe I should check under the grips. :)

What are you, five? 🤣

yeah but watching the video, though it was not the sharpest one I've seen, it didn't look like he even touched the pager...it just went off.

If the Mossad wants you dead, there is nothing you can do to stop them. So you might as well enjoy life.

Take out gender studies and the UU church drops from #2 to bottom of the pile. [laugh]
No dog in the fight: UU claims to have the highest percentage of military veterans of any religion. That may be because Christian religions are so splintered. Military surveys identify anywhere from 12 to 220 religious groupings.

Saw quotes in last two pages, but not whole article: archive link to WSJ article:

I'm poking fun a bit at the UU church, basic NES BSing. I do like the concept of an open minded faith based organization. IMHO wars over religion seems silly, though it's really about control of territory and resources. All war is. What I don't like about the UU church is that it's a magnet for moonbats.
