My g29 is a lot thicker, heavier and a hair longer than my g27, the slide is substantially heavier. They call the g29 a sub compact, but its far from it. If they could only match the size of the g27, what a great gun it would be. I could only dream.

I Thought i'd be the only one. Fotay all the way, and 10mm close second. If they had a subcompact 10mm the size of a G27 id be in 10mm heaven.
I've said it before and i'll say it again, .40 is the perfect in-between caliber, and it's especially good when no other ammo is available, .40 ammo is everywhere and for damn near the price of 9mm, F*** 9mm!!

Plus most likely opposing force in a SHTF situation will have lots of .40 cal ammo.

I'm a fan of 45 acp but I think that's mainly due to my 625-4 I can load em light or super hot and they all work. Versatile with 145 grain SWC up to 290 grain SWC. It's more about the gun/cartridge combo.

40 cal. Can always find it. Swap out the barrel and you can shoot 9mm from the same weapon
