Federal Hydra Shock 155gr .40cal

I like Federal. Especially their Hydra-Shok line; makes for great carry ammo.

I don't think that's a popular weight for a .40 S&W bullet. YMMV.

Most of ones I've seen are usually in the 165gr or 180gr variety.

I just saw at the range yesterday a guy with Hydra-shock and HSTs in .40 caliber test firing them. There is not a doubt in my mind HSTs are far superior.
Here is a pic which matches exactly what I saw first hand. While I was there, he shot a HST .45 into a half gallon jug and it went through just a few layers of gypsum board as backing before stopping. The jug was in pieces. He didn't do the hydra-shocks when I was there so I can't compare for you.

Considering that the HST is intended to be Federal's replacement for the venerable Hydra-Shok, I would hope it's better.

The Hydra-Shok is old, used to be the gold standard, but for my HD gun that's what I have loaded. It'll do the job well, but if you want the best, it's not anymore.
