I looked but couldn't find a fishing picture thread. Went out this morning in the Lakes Region. Not much open water, but the Salmon were hitting hard. Me and my buddy caught our limit by 6:45am. Picture isn't that great, but the small one measured out at 20 inches. Great morning

Haha,,, no boat or spear required. Caught with rod and reel while swimming. That's Newport, RI about a mile behind me.

Anyone recognize this lighthouse?

300Lb Bluefin Tuna, had my dad with me to kill that one!

Same fish being put into the truck, then on a plane to Japan..

The only striper I caught al year, trying to catch bluefish for tuna bait non the less!

My son with a morning worth of fluke and seabass

Nice Holdover brown I caught a few falls ago

Looking forward to contributing to this thread once the weather gets a little bit warmer around here! I'm an avid fisherman, especially from my kayak. Fishing SUCKED around my parts last year...plus I broke my foot in the middle of the summer so I hope to make up for it with this year's season.

Thanks! You'll enjoy it immensely, I'm sure. In a kayak you can float into areas you'd never be able to touch in a regular boat...and you can do it completely silent.

Yes sir. One of my favorite spots. I often launch my kayak under that bridge too. I also frequent the bridge by the old dog pound near Wendy's at the Ayer rotary.

My sons 28# striper , he caught and landed it by himself last Fathers Day. I don't mind for one second when the boy outfishes me. He didn't let me breathe without reminding me he went a whole pound bigger than I did that day...little f*%@!r .
Then the next day I took the title back from him with a 30#.
