After seeing a FS2000 at the LAV class in October, I decided to get one for myself. Since this is a bullpup style rifle, the OAL lenghth of FS2000 with 17.4" bbl is less than that of a 16" AR with collapsed stock. It is very handy and maneuvrable. I have the tactical version which comes with a full length rail. I promptly mounted Aimpoint ML2 in a ADM standard mount. I found the mount a little too high. I currently have 4" sight height. With a 100 yard zero, I have to aim 2.5" high at 25 yards. I will be going to a lower mount soon. The ergonomics of the rifle are nice, although the manual of arms is very different from AR. It lacks both bolt hold open and drop free magazines. However, the magazine release button is such, that it is easy to depress it while yanking the magazine out. After racking the charging handle, the rifle is ready for action. When disassembling it, I noticed a lot of small parts/levers/springs. I was hoping for something along the elegant design of an AR or AK. But that's a compromise I'm willing to take. Another benefit of this rifle for AWB states is that it is designed to accept standard AR magazines, and we are not hamstrung ala PS90. I also got lucky enought to find the new FN tri rail online and install it. I definitely like the feel of the rifle with a VFG installed, plus it gives me the opportunity to mount a light. No rifle is complete without a sling. I used urban-ert butt stock adapter and mounted VCAS sling to it, with the front connected to the front sling mount via a mash hook. I don't like the front mount as I feel it interferes with access to the charging handle. I will be getting a rail mounted sling loop soon and moving the front sling attachment point to the rear of the rail. Shooting FS2000 is pleasant. The ergonomics are nice, and I find the safety is fairly easy to manipulate as well. I shoot about 120 rounds of Wolf and all fed without any problems. The ejection system means you won't be bother your neighbors with flying brass. I did not try to see how accurate the rifle was. Overall, it is a unique weapon which, as a gentelman from LAV class said, has a purpose as a CQB rifle. It will take some getting used since the manual of arms is very different from AR.

I have one too and once you get used to it, you will be amazed at how well you can shoot with it.

I do agree with everything the OP said about this rifle. Just wish it had a better trigger, the stock trigger leaves much to be desired.

I was lucky enough to grab one of the Monolith forends when they first came out, probably should have grabbed a few of them.

I REALLY like the feel of this upgrade... night and day difference compared to the stock forend. It makes the rifle feel more compact to your body (if that makes sense). The hand position change makes you want to tuck everything in close... no elbows out.

I actually find the trigger decent for what it is. Didn't see anyone complaining yet :).

I did... it was my only gripe with the FS2000. [smile]

I realize bullpups are notorious for having sub-par triggers, I've just been spoiled by really nice triggers. Anything above 5-6 pounds feels like a slab of granite being dragged along in a rock quarry. [thinking]

It's still plenty fine to hit a 8" plate at 250yds... 10 rounds out of 10 with ease.

Where did you get that forend?

I got mine at Mckinnon Outdoors. I think they use the same warehouse as Ambiet Outdoors when it comes to stuff like the FNH tri rail. There were a bunch of web vendors that had the forend for sale and they all had the same reported inventory as eachother. I was kind of skeptical about ordering stuff from a website that was so obscure, but they pulled through and were easy to deal with. Fast shipping, too.

and now I'm going to add my contributions... making this thread a FS2000 porn thread [smile]

fresh out of the box:

and here it is with some $5 UTG rail guards (makes great soft grips on the FNH tri-rail), ERT sling, FNH tri-rail w/huge grip, and some c-products 10 round mags:

the pull handle that c-products mags can be ordered with makes the rifle capable for one handed mag changes. You can depress the mag release button and pull the magazine out at the same time... one of the better upgrades I've done to the rifle. Any other 10 round magazine is basically impossible to remove from the mag well.
