All to be had and up for Auction at Rock Island Auctions. Includes a whole section of Class III weapons including tank guns, Civil War Cannons and automatic weapons of all kinds. Have my eye on a particular Thompson and a MP-40!

You think that’s depressing? Did you see those double barrel shotguns for 375 K?

I used the filter so didn't see them, but expensive shotguns don't really interest me. As an 18 YO with a cheap M500 and very little trap experience, I knocked out everyone including the guys with expensive O/U's in a clay contest at an MRA event, except the club top guy, who, of course, had an uber expensive O/U too. 🤣 The prize was a bottle of Seagrams, being 18 I was motivated.

Yeah, really like one of the full auto Thompson, but at $35-$50k it’s unobtainium.

A few interesting things there.

Wonder what the muzzle blast on this little guy is like on auto: Fleming/Heckler & Koch HK53 Sear/Host Combo, Class III/NFA

Impossible. Everyone knows that the more expensive equipment you have, the better you will shoot (except in the case of those days where you just don't shoot well, which is every time...).

I really hate to say it seeing what I paid for an expensive O/U, but I shoot my Mossberg Silver Reserve II O/U better than my Browning Citori O/U. I have no idea why as they both fit me very well, but for whatever reason I bust more clays with the Mossberg.

Well, it is sometimes like the quote from the Romero movie Dawn of the Dead - The only person who could miss with this gun is the sucker with the bread to buy it.
