I have noticed that my Glock 36 has a very long trigger and even worse reset and I can't seem to get past it. I have heard the best reviews come from the 3.5lb Ghost Rocket bar and wanted opinions on getting one. I heard that it only improves about 1lb of trigger pull and you need to replace the firing pin spring as well as a polish job. Has anyone done this? Thanks.

I would just go with the Glock factory part if it's for a carry gun. Toss in the (-) connector, do a little polishing, and see how it feels.

Ghost rocket makes just the connector or various more fulsome kits that include all the springs in the trigger housing and slide. I think the full kit is $49. What springs you get and install is a function of, as John notes above, whether you want to risk possible AD's. On the website, Ghost actually advises against installing certain springs if you are going to carry. I think the 3.5 lb connector itself won't put you at risk (and there are several companies making them). The stock connector is 5.5lb. I have a G20 which is just a range gun so I tried the full Rocket kit and really liked it. I since got a Bobby Carver full trigger and springs replacement kit (everything polished and comes with adjustable trigger over travel, unlike the Ghost where you have to keep filing down the trigger bar until it functions correctly, at which point you have eliminated over travel). The Bobby Carver trigger is four times the price of the Ghost kit. I love the Carver trigger but for the money, the Ghost kit is hard to beat.

The Rocket is great for lightening the pull and eliminating over travel. One of the Glock trigger gripes is the insane amount of pre travel.

If you are looking to eliminate pre travel, I suggest the Glockworx adjustable fulcrum trigger kit. I installed one in one of my glocks. Unbelievable feel, I wouldn't suggest it for carry though with a 3lb trigger.

I installed the Ghost 4.5 with overtravel stop on my Glock 19 prior to selling - really enjoyed that. I can't remember the name of the disconnector off the top of my head, but I believe it was the Tactical.
