Got an old Christmas Tree? Give it to Trout Unlimited

Very similar to when I lived in Louisiana and retired Christmas trees were used to buffer the coastal wetlands
 
Oh ya, lets add more dry fuel to the forests. [thumbsup]

Oh ya, lets add acidic connifer trees to the clean, clear streams so they can add silty matter and alter the pH of them.[thumbsup]

I'd sooner chop it up and compost it for my garden....but I already have 40,000 cubic feet of woodchips to work with( and its nowhere near any suface water.)

They are fooling themselves if they think they will change the course of nature. The trout will find their place.
