Good news from the PD today.... my CT (CC)pistol permit was approved.
Now I can seriously look at a .22 target pistol and a decent production gun for uspsa\idpa sports
score!!!

...a few days ago I traded the piece of crap Mossburg Plinkster 802 I had for a Remington 597 at Sportsman's Outpost(I like to keep a basic .22 as a 2nd gun and for iron-sight skills). I'd have to wait until May 6th to get in hand due too the "two week wait" but in CT with a pistol permit a person can buy "on the spot", so I think I'll go pick up my new little plinker. I've got to do more research before I decide what pistol(s) I want, don't want to make the mistake I made buying the Mossberg on a whim
