just got mine mail it out on aug 9 got it today sept 28
I did. I have an T&H restricted Class A and got my unrestricted ME non-resident license in September. I just filled out the application as stated. I would recommend not calling anyone to ask questions for which you do not want to hear the answers.
I'll probably start the NH non-resident process using the ME license in January.
I found the link on the state police site for Maine:

As I recall that was a yes/no question that I answered "yes". My logic is that my Class A license does not say "no CCW" therefore it allows me to concealed carry for target and hunting purposes. For example, it is my understanding that I can carry concealed when hunting or I could do so for something like IDPA.Did you attach of copy of your Mass LTC? They ask if you have a CCW permit in any state? I'm indicating an LTC for sporting purposes only, or is that information that they are not asking for...?

I included a copy of my LTC.
I've got my Maine and NH non-resident permits, but now I want to get a Florida CCW Non-resident permit.
A Florida Non-res permit is valid in about 23 states with reciprocity. Add a Utah permit and you're up to 30+ states. You'll still need a separate one for every N.E. state though.
Oh yes it is. National Forests are OK, and so are public lands in most states.I don't actually think concealed carry is ever allowed on public land

CCW is 100% legal in all Ohio public lands except National Park Service units (which we have none).
Sorry, my bad. I meant that with a restricted permit, in mASS, you can not carry concealed in public places.
Stranger.
My date of issue is 9/28/2007.
That's the day I received it. So they post-dated my license before they mailed it?
Mine looks like a 5 year old put it together and then laminated it.
My picture was smudged with someone's gigantic thumb print and it is now ingrained permanently into the lamination.

I've had an ALP for 32 yrs....I was 17 when I took my safety course.
Will I have to take another course to satisfy ME & CT?
Unfortunately I think the answer is going to be yes. Several years ago I faced the same issue for Maine, I sent a certificate that was 6 years old and an explanation that I had my license for over a decade. They the sent everything back saying it didn't meet the requirements. I ended up taking the NRA home safety course for a few hours just to satisfy the requirement and it went through without a problem. Give them a call just to confirm though.
Regards,
Paul
