... in Millbury which is typically 30-40 days, today is day: 42
It looks like I could potentially have my license by day # 56

I'm still following your saga, as I think it points out that the wait time is not necessarily a local PD thing, that individuals get hit with different waits based on individual circumstances by the state portion of the process, before it gets back to the local PD to give their approval.

A few days ago, my friend in Lexington just received her LTC-A with no restrictions after a 3 month and 1 week wait.
Let's keep an eye on Lexington. Recent applicants have told us that they've changed their policy in the wake fo Sandy Hook and are now only issuing restricted LTCs.
Yeah, that Lexington..From Wikipedia said:The first shots were fired just as the sun was rising at Lexington. The militia were outnumbered and fell back, and the regulars proceeded on to Concord, where they searched for the supplies. At the North Bridge in Concord, approximately 500 militiamen fought and defeated three companies of the King's troops. The outnumbered regulars fell back from the minutemen after a pitched battle in open territory
More militiamen arrived soon thereafter and inflicted heavy damage on the regulars as they marched back towards Boston. Upon returning to Lexington, Smith's expedition was rescued by reinforcements under Brigadier General Hugh Percy. The combined force, now of about 1,700 men, marched back to Boston under heavy fire in a tactical withdrawal
