A gun was accidentally discharged inside a Boston Police station Saturday night, the department confirmed.
The incident happened inside the A-1 Boston Police station, which is located at 40 Sudbury St., around 11:45 p.m. Saturday. The A-1 station covers downtown Boston and Charlestown.
No one was injured, said Officer Mark Marron, a spokesman for the Boston Police Department.
Police did not release any additional information about the incident. Marron declined to say who the gun belonged to or how it was discharged.
