Gun Rests

Have my eyes on a gun/shooting rest for AR platform and bolt action. Doing some research and shopping around. Think I narrowed it done to 2. Wondering what you are using and if you use one of the two I am eyeing what your thoughts are.

The Caldwell Rock is one of the very best rests, and it looks like cabellas has it on sale for $60 right now. I paid $85 for mine without the rear bag!

Depending on your use.
I have the lead sled plus. It works good and with the 75lbs I put on. It stays put.
I like it for trying to dial in my sights. Trying to figure out the changes in sight hight. I will also use it to see how ammo groups out of a gun....
. Works well for zeroing a scope and bore sighting... it gives a added support and recoil reduction also.
When I just want to shoot with a little support a sandbag supporting my arm works very well especially in the prone position.
Down side to the led sled plus is mags can hit I use 10 rounders for testing on the sled.
