As the title states, I am looking to go from my standard scope on my RGS .308 to a scout scope mounted on the pic rail forward of the action. After shooting my buddies with a cortex scout scope on it thats what I’m looking at. Curious if there are any suggestions or experience on what height s ope rings I would need for the scope to successfully clear the from sight post? Doesnt need to clear it entirely it’s okay if the front sight is present in the lower part of the optic but I don’t want it to obscure the center of the optic. TIA!
