I watched the vote for this, I thought it was funny how the anti gunners kept harping on how this would reduce suicides by not allowing people to buy a gun the same day. This argument was nicely dealt with when the pro gun side commented that the same people for this bill to prevent suicide are also on record as voting for assisted suicide bills.

someone so impulsive they wanna murder people today SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED IN SOCIETY AT ALL! Nevermind get a gun a few days later.
