Ok, yes I own a Hi Point, and yes it is ugly and cheap.

Aside from that, I am having trouble sighting in the laser.

I cannot get the laser even close to what the peep sights are pointing at.

Does anyone hear have any insight as to how to get this thing sighted in?

I am very close to trading this cheap POS in on something else.

I bought this gun early in my collecting days, and would not buy it again.

I actually have a 9mm Marlin that I love, so if I cannot get this thing right, then the hi point goes bye bye.

Why a laser? I put a cheap Soviet era scope on mine, 4x32 compact that makes it a great 50 yards shooter. You can take a rat or chipmunk with it at that range.
I bought mine new when they 1st came out, 15 years maybe. Cost me $110.00 with a compensator & 2 mag holder for buttstock. After thousands of rounds it still runs slick. Trigger is a little heavy, but what could one expect for a cheap carbine.

I have a laser because thats what it came with.

I have the scoped marlin, so I dont need two scoped 9mm carbines.
