So I see that the downside to going a LNL-AP route is the near impossible ability to find parts.

I had to order a #8 shell plate from ebay.

There are no #45 plates to be found.

Forget finding a case feeder unless you want to pay full MSRP on Amazon.

Also the powder through expanders seem to have vanished. What is every one using as expanding die?????

I feel your pain...I had to order my shellplate for .308 from Sinclear because MidwayUSA was out, then the 3 pack of bushings I had in my shopping cart went out of stock before I hit submit and I had to get 2x 2packs instead. looking down the list of my MidwayUSA search results there's a lot of hornady stuff thats backordered. I had to hunt for a while just to buy the LNL AP because that was out of stock everywhere!

I'm using the expander dye that came with my New Dimensions .40SW set. Station 1: resize and decap, Station 2: expander, Station 3: powder, Station 4: Powder Cop, Station 5: seat/crimp.

I watched some youtube vids of the LNL AP fully kitted out with the bullet and case feeders.....drooool.

I have a LNL-AP on the fedex truck. Ebay store just processed my shell plate #8 (9mm) order. I was able to get a order in on Midway for 10 bushings last week, those came in.

I hear you. I've been trying to find the 9mm bullet feeder die for weeks. Sold out everywhere.

I was setting up for 45acp and couldn't find dies or the #45 plate, after scrounging for a while I found the 45 shell plate at Buffaloarms. I emailed to confirm they had it after ordering and was told it's on back order. I asked to cancel and was told they just came in and it shipped. Maybe they have some now.

I found the dies at Grafs.com. They only charge $5 shipping on orders. They say they have the case feeder in stock.

I used this universal PTX expander which has quite a following online and seems to work well so far with the 357 loads and will see how it does with 45's

I saw reports on using #1. Then I read others that mention they came out with #45 since #1 was having issues with .45acp.

Thanks for link BTW.

the only issue i seem to have is extracting the bullet off the press. 1 out 5 got stuck. so i just make pull it out on the down stroke. I would like to find a #45 shell plate to see a difference but right now its not priority.
