How would we "recognize" a number when there is no way of knowing the number? My phone does not have a screen. It may not even have functioning lighting any more.

How would we "recognize" a number when there is no way of knowing the number? My phone does not have a screen. It may not even have functioning lighting any more.

I mean my dad is a phone-flint but even his like 10? year old LG slide-phone still has a functioning caller ID screen on it and it actually announces by voice a recognized number that's in his phonebook. I don't entirely blame him for flinting, it costs him a whopping $37 for that thing a month.-Mike
