How Did Your Representative Vote on ERPO?

Timothy R. Whelan, Republican, former US Marine and State Police Sergeant.
Voted yes..

Another I support the 2nd amendment..But...

Another politician that says they are a republican, but are NOT!

My district, my vote. Sorry old Timmy boy. Never again.
#selloutmycountry4avote!

Forgot about the constitution ay Timmy..

How soon they forget what it is that they are supposed to protect.

Why is it always like this with former police and military politicians?

I'm special..And the people are not!

Or is it just another way of staying in a position of power?

Hey Timmy, somewhere in a cave an Issis member is thanking all the politicians in the United States like you that weaken our nations defenses!

You and Seth Moulton must have forgotten what is was like to protect our nation.
You carried a rifle to protect it and now you use a pen to weaken it and leave your people defenseless against those that want to destroy our way of life!

We the people are Our nations best defense!

We are everywhere and if we have the means to stop evil.
We would at all times and all places!

We are the Militia our founding fathers wanted!

You clown!

Really upsetting to see Lombardo's and Orrall's votes. Called them out on Twitter over it. Crickets. Stanley's no vote was interesting.

Mine voted Yes but he has already announced that he is retiring after this term so no leverage there. Not that there was much in the first place.

I love to see MA Democracy at work. First, you have a thread on Calling Them and then you run a thread on Them Not Listening.
May I propose a thread on What To Take With You When They Will Come Knocking?

Honestly, someone's gonna nope the f*** out and go out in a blaze of glory at some point simply because of horseshit laws like this. Then we get even more bullshit laws to push more people toward it. This kind of shit is just pushing people more and more toward go time.

Starting to get really disappointed in Poirier. She also voted for the first bump stock ban that was proposed that would have been terrible had it passed.

Go where?

This silly law is just a small contribution to a total devastation of the society. They needed to brake families. Women went to contribute and children went into socialist education system well staffed with lefties and loonies. While you were working they took care of you by slamming a healthcare requirement on you. You were doing fine without it and you had no clue how screwed up your insurance can be! You have missed that one, you did not wake up when education produced children who hate their own rights and they want your rights to be gone also, you did not object when this country decided to export "democracy" to $htholes without any benefit to you. What else do you want? Go time? That is a pure suicide because nobody is standing behind you and nobody will even notice.

... because he believes the decision to report illegals to the feds should be made at the local level. No, Mr Faker, the decision was made at the federal level. This isn't a states' rights, or even towns' rights issue.

"I don't support it and I would veto it if it ends up coming to my desk," Baker said after a Memorial Day event on Boston Common. "I've said many times that I think decisions like this belong with local law enforcement."

My Rep Gifford voted no thankfully. Sometimes they do listen but obviously not enough.
Now on to call my State Senator and waste my time because Pacheco has no backbone like most of the ones who voted yes...

My local rep, Boldyga, voted Yes and it surprised me. He’s usually a really pro-2A. He had two admendments filed on this bill that were both rejected.

I reached out to him yesterday, and this was his response.

Thanks for the message. I'm A rated by both GOAL & the NRA. I'm a strong 2A supporter and I'm disappointed in the rhetoric that GOAL put out. It couldn't be further from the truth. I’m happy to discuss it further over the phone if you’d like over the next few days.

I’ll be reaching out to him at some point in the near future to discuss it.

Rep Colleen Garry, a moderate Dem, voted No
I think she has voted "My way" on every vote that I had concerns over.
That being said....
A vote to the contrary in most cases in this state dont mean shit with a,supermajority.
It's just pandering to the mostly red towns she represents.

Yup, he's gotten his last donation from me.

I could have forgiven voting yes on the original bill with at least a slight nod to people's rights, the replacement bill is a deal breaker.
