Believe me, I know +p feels different in a snub. I am trying to help him work around his issues until something becomes available for him. Good luck to you.

Thank you smash. I know plus p wont kill my gun with limited use. I just dont want to be out $500. Smith said they cant replace a frame that old.

O well.

Im sorry being sarcastic. I just find some things more ammusing than others.

Your probobly scared to go to the super market. I cant ask a question cause im a new user?

Thanks alot. Way to make me feel welcome

Here' an idea - stop being a DB and maybe the rat smell will wear off.

For the record, purchasing ammo online is expensive with regards to shipping - there's a hazmat tax,

There is no hazmat fees for loaded ammo... loaded ammunition normally ships ORM-D unless it's some weird stuff like APIT/Tracer/etc. only powder and primers normally require hazmat fees with shippes. If a vendor is charging you hazmat, for loaded ammo, they're ripping you off.

I had a friend from NH order some ammo for me and there was a shipping fee but there was no hazmat fee. As someone said earlier that hazmat is on powder and primers.

Try Northeast traders they can get you most any ammo you need.
They have no problem with the Attorney Generals office.

I don't remember ever paying hazmat fees for getting ammo shipped to me. For components (primers or powder), but never ammo.

You don't know what you are talking about

I was under the impression I do, though I'll concede that perhaps the hazmat tax isn't correct (it's what I've heard as part of the reason for the cost). Ammo DOES way a ton, since you're basically shipping metal. It also does cost a fair amount to ship - look at the numbers on my previous post. As Mike pointed out, I'm wrong on the hazmat thing. Kind of him to point that out, rather than just invalidating my entire post because of one part of it [wink]

Ammo does, however, cost a lot to ship, especially in small batches.

Because they have Martha on speed dial.
