Get what you want but personally I liked the lighter rifles and I like piston driven ar's for cleaning purposes. I held an lwrc 16in that was super light and a rhino heavy barrel 16 in I personally would have gotten the lwrc if not for that pesky price tag

Just out of curiosity, how light have the piston systems been getting down to. First piston AR I held few years back was nose heavy for a carbine.

The piston doesn't add a ton of weight. Probably a half pound.

I shot a light barreled AR with an Osprey piston kit, which is one of the lightest at about 4 ounces. And it shot just like a DI gun.

Which is to say, very nicely.
