Howdy Yall...at my local gun range down here in SC...I was buying an AR 50 to compliment my Grizzly 50 and they were having an NRA banquet/machine gun shoot...I purchased a crappy little knife for $20, which got my some raffle tickets and I won a Howa 1500 .308 with camo stock and a scope! Here's a picture of it. I don't think I'd buy it normally, but I'll take it for free!

You will be surprised at how accurate Howas are.

Remember, Howa used to make the Weatherby Mark V when they were made in Japan. They do know how to make rifles.

Congratulations !
I saw Howa's in action in June, when Pete Lincoln brought some to
an event. Excellent craftmanship and very accurate rifles.
