Just got a call for fingerprint after 8 months

Just got a call a few second ago for my fingerprint appointment, they said they have the next day afternoon available, luckily. I sent my application via mail at the end of May, 2023. Boston.

I know someone who just got their LTC in Arlington. No interview. All done by phone and email. No wait. License received 5 weeks after complete application.

Some say they only come in for fingerprint and photo in Boston. But the timeline is only getting worse, they did their best to cut off all contact, deactivated their contact email, never pickup the phone or call back.

On cape I had to redo my photo and fingerprints on my 3rd renewal. That was last October. They used the same picture before that from when I originally applied. My buddy got his on a different cape town and they used his driver license picture

Guess we know why Comm2A is sueing Boston for their slow application response. Breaking their own law.

Why would it take 5 weeks instead of 5 days?
Getting my PA non-resident was 5 minutes standing at a counter.
