KAG Arms

NES gently correcting another entitled OP:

@KAG Arms I think we recently talked about this exact topic and maybe this is a good time for a friendly reminder: you don't always need to pull the fire alarm at the first sign of smoke.
Stop being so quick to react, OP. It's not a good look.
Sherif has a solid history of providing us with what we want, great prices, loads of knowledge, and a straight, no-chaser type of attitude.
These types of posts always make me want to spend more money at KAG.

The irony is that OP probably brought some new customers for Sherif with this dumpster fire of a thread.
Initially it looked like a potential '2 sides to the story' situation. Maybe OP was impatient plus maybe KAG was a little quick to pull the plug. Once OP responded in a nasty, threatening manner to one of our members? That made it 100% clear that KAG intuitively made the right call.

Reminds me of a book from my youngest days in business, '7 Habits of Highly Effective People' by Stephen R. Covey. Though some of his tenets were slightly cringe worthy, if I recall correctly Covey asserted that sometimes the best course of action is to 'fire' bad customers.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I was thinking. It’s been too long since I’ve taken the drive to the mill and bought something from Sherif. I gotta bump it up the priority list after the New Year.

Merry Christmas Sherif!!!

I actually thought KAG was over-reacting at first; now I’m amazed at his ability to detect bad customers so early.

Most vendors can easily and early detect bad customers, or customers they are not compatible with. Humans in general excel at pattern recognition. What takes a little bit of work is the cognitive infiltration to get them to post their own losses and self roast on line.

First we had the OG Chris, then Chris from NES, and Now Glock Sushi, all unwittingly thinking they started a thread of their own volition.

LOL if in stock at the distributor how hard would it be to provide a rough ETA? Might have avoided the drama and it is a reasonable expectation from most customers. That said, KAG may have gotten a sense that if he gave an ETA, OP would be contacting him hourly with "Is there yet? Is it there yet? Is it there yet? You said it would be here in X days and it's already 9:02am on X day."
[laugh]
perfect.. now someone with photoshop skills can work some magic.. between this and the "not that chris" episode.. this is almost turning into an Emmy-worthy series...

@KAG Arms I still refuse to go up there and NOT buy primers from you. ;)

actually, I'm glad the mill isn't so close, greatly helps my finances and my marriage.
