Just remember that USCCA gets to determine, if in it's judgment, the case was self defense and deny coverage if they do not conclude it was.

This was litigated, but the plaintiff lost because she was found guilty and the court concluded USCCA was right to deny payment. But, who knows if the plaintiff was convicted because she should not pay for top tier counsel.

I have not found ANY self defense policy that guarantees coverage if the defendant claims self defense, only if it "is" self defense - a loophole big enough to drive a truck through.
