level 2-3 retention recomendations.

I had my interview for Aux police today, it went well. I have to get a level 2-3 retention holster, it must be leather.

I want one with a thumb break (preferably not a snap/button but it will do)
also a pointer finger (trigger finger) release
and one that you have to angle it forward/backwards.

I have looked online and its hard to tell/read what they have and no where I know of has alot of holsters..

what do you guys have and/or what do you recommend?

Whatever you decide on, train with it. Then train some more. Be able to unholster without thinking.

What type of weapon are going to be using? My department uses the Safariland ALS for M&P it is much faster than the 070 series which used to be the standard. They are made of Kydex but you can get them in a leather finish for a decent price (around $80).
Also stay away from the Uncle Mikes Pro 3 IMO they are garbage, the dont hold up well, the release is not natural, and they do look very presentable..
