Loving my sks

Bought my sks last week shot it the other day and love the riffle! Was origainally in the market for an AR but I must say I think Im much happier with my purchase and save a bunch of money to spend on ammo.

I just want to thank all of you knowledgeable folks with helping me decide on this riffle.

No I do very much enjoy shooting my Russian refurb though. Beautiful rifle.

What's with all those AK look alike CLIPS??? I just bought some 5-round steel mags for my AKs, so they now look like as benign a rifle and ready to evade the coming consfication!!! -- I wanted to conserve ammo at the range, with the low caps.

That's a sweet looking sks btw. I'm envious.

yea some sks's have detachable magazines. I have the factory 10 rounder as well. Its fun to fill up the 40 rounder and let them fly but for accuracy I only load 5 or 10

patriot firearms had a few listed in the dealer classifieds. wanted an ar but something about these russian guns.
