I don't know if I've ever fired an apex triggered gun before, but as far as from Stock?Nice.
I was wondering, what aspects of the result of trigger job, vs. kit, are the same/different? Is any overtravel effected?
Much shorter take up , the "mush" is gone, no grit, a much lighter pull, and a shorter reset. The reset on my 9C is not as 'audible" as the one on my Shield, or my XDM, but I can feel it when I'm actually shooting and
to me that's what's important.
Greg said I can bring it back to 'refine", so I'll shoot a couple hundred more rounds with it and then decide
if I even need any further work. Greg likes his customers to be happy with his work , so he will work with you.
I think with the Kit you replace any parts that would need machining, it just makes it simpler. A gunsmith can "work" the existing parts (except springs) to get most of what the Apex kit does. I may be mistaken,
but he's done 3 M&P triggers for me now and all 3 were night and day from stock, and I believe the only
parts he swapped out were springs.
