I am aware that the 40S&W and 357Sig barrels and magazines are interchangeable, but, can I put a full size factory 357Sig barrel in an M&P40c compact?
I am asking this because I want to get a 357Sig barrel for my M&P40c, but want a minimum of 4". The 357Sig round loses around 70fps to the shorter stock 3.5" barrel. I have been waiting for Storm Lake Barrels to come out with such a barrel, but would rather just buy a 4.25" S&W factory barrel and have someone shorten it to 4" for me.
