Picked up a Garand recently and would like to get it appraised and gauged. Any collectors/knowledgeable members in the Central MA/Metro west area?

+1 for pics. We could probably give you a range for value. Receiver including serial number (you can cover last 2 or 3 digits), trigger group, barrel markings.

I'd call ahead and offer a little $ for his trouble, but Joe Dube at Pack and Postal in Lancaster should be a good resource in Central MA.
