I've been waiting for winter to show up with some snow so I can go snowmobiling but so far it's been a bust. Mother nature is pissed this year so I'm diving into other hobbies. It's almost 50 degrees here so I pulled my M44s out for a quick outdoor cleaning.
From top to bottom:
1. Russian 1948 - This was my first C&R gun and still my favorite to shoot that I bought in 2010 for $125.
2. Romanian 1954
3. Chinese Type 53 - 1953.12
4. Chinese Type 53 - 1953.4 Someone removed the bayo from it and I assume isn't in the original stock but I'm not sure. I paid $100 bucks for it 10 years ago on whim.
I think I'm going to sell some other Mosins and add the Hungarian and Polish M44s. Maybe because it was my first C&R gun but I really love the M44s and simplicity of the Mosins in general.
