The Maine Highpower Junior Service Rifle Team is holding a raffle.

First prize is a M1 Garand. Brand new barrel installed. Beautiful new stock from Dupage trading. All gunsmithing done by Angus Arms in Wiscasset, ME (he was a Team armorer for the Army Reserve).

Second prize is a Mossberg 88 Security 12ga shotgun (8-shot). NIB

$20 each ticket. Only 300 tickets being sold.

All proceeds will go to our Junior program (of which I am one of the coaches) where we will use the money to upgrade our team AR15 rifles with new barrels, optics, etc. Also defray some costs of their trip to Camp Perry.

I forgot to mention the M1 comes with 2 complete bandoleers of ammo (96 rds), 2 booklets about M1's, sight covers, a USGI web sling, and a 30 cal ammo can.

It's a long story, but no. There are some old-timers in charge of the Pine Tree Org that are scared of technology. "Them paypal/venmo rigs are always getting hacked!"
A few of us are trying to breath life into the junior program, and the rest of the org. So we are using our personal venmo accounts or getting checks mailed.
As soon as we get the money in, we fill out the tickets and send you a Pic.
I'll add a link to our FB page "Maine Distinguished Riflemen" where we will have a video of one of our juniors pulling the winning ticket as soon as we sell the 300.

I'm kind of a Luddite myself. I just created my venmo account for only this purpose. Still don't really know how it works, but it does.
