I went to the Manchester show with a Sharps rifle that I had intended to sell. It was an invitational show and it appeared that someone forgot to invite the public. There was a great deal of terrific stuff on display but very little changed hands as it was just about dealers only. I bought a couple of books and took the Sharps back home. I heard that they may not have the show after this one due to poor turnouts.
A lot of people looked at and admired my Sharps, but only one person in two days did not sport a dealer tag.
If you wanted what they had and were willing to pay big bucks, you could have had some amazing stuff, but first you'd have to know there was a show...
