Manual for S&W Model 14 revolver needed

Does anybody have an original manual for Model 14? I would really appreciate a copy or the scan. Or maybe a link to a PDF?

If you want a real project, how about I send you my 1981 Armorer parts manual to scan. It has all the models from 10 through 629 plus rifles and shotguns. That would make a great resource for you and a good back up copy for me.

Hi Gary,

Is it loose leaf or spiral bound? If not, it gets ugly scanning it if it's a bound
book with a glued spine, unless you don't care if the spine gets trashed. Loose
leaf or spiral bound, bring it on! How many pages?

It's a good question about loose leaf. It the manual really is loose leaf, I have access to an automatic feed scaner, so scaning even a large volume won't be a problem.

This looks good! How many pages would you estimate? Jacko says that he
has an automated scanner as I have a single sheet photographic quality
scanner. Either way is good for me. I have upcoming hip surgery in mid Nov.
so after I get out of the hospital I will be at home for four/five weeks and
would have time to take on the project.

If they are B&W then I would scan the pages with an image on them
as gray scale so as to capture a good quality image and scan the non-imaged
pages as a bit map to keep the size of the scans down and text quality up.
A benefit to doing that is when converting them to PDF would keep the PDF
file size down.

Let's make a decision and go with it if you are comfortable with either way.
