I've been looking around here but can't find anything that points to the answer...

I was interested in getting a marlin model 90 O/U shotgun, but cann't find one in state...if I was to get one on one of the various auction sites, and had it shipped to an FFL, would all be well? I can't imagine it not being approved, being an old O/U shotgun.

Any advice or help is appreciated.

Perfectly legal and if you find one in NH or ME, just drive up and buy it (also legal) and e-FA-10 it as "registration" (NO dealer info) within 7 days of bringing it back.

Yes, you can! Since the latest production was 1960, it can also be shipped to a C&R license holder, if you have one. I bought a 16ga 90 that way last year, and it quickly became my favorite bird gun.

If it is a private party, check with the ffl you want it shipped to first. Some will not accept from a private party, only another ffl.
