Just curious if anyone has ever had issues removing the mag tube? I've tried everything. Even a pipe wrench didn't work. Looks like it may be on there with thread lock?[rolleyes]

Look for a crimp maybe?

For some odd reason i thought mine was either pinned or crimped, ill check cause now im curious

Ok just gave mine the once over, it just appears to be threaded as well, no pinny no crimpy. Maybe throw some heat at it?

Try standing it up and working some break free or wd40 into it.
Give it a little bit every day for a week.
Then a strap wrench.
It will come but they can be an sob.
My older one, I cut a slot in the top so I could use an old choke tube wrench to unscrew it.

When I got my moss from my friends dad it sat in a case for like 15 years . I had to have it standing up side down with the adjustable choke in wd40. Once I got that choke to break free it was easy to adjust .

It's a 590. It's a persuader version.

is it a 500 or a 590?

persuader is a 500 model...

i cranked the tube off of my 590 relatively effortlessly--i also didn't care if i ****ed it up so i just wrapped it in a rag and clamped a vice grip to it and pow! twisted that bad boy right off.
