My 12 year old sister painted picture of Vietnam in 1968

I'm just not making the connection......... 🤔, but I'm more of a scientific minded individual than an "artsy" type.

I thought it was lost but I found out today. My little sister has it. I got home from in Vietnam 7/68. Nobody knew I was coming home. I walked in the house with my duffel bag, uniform, and memories, found my little sister asleep in the bed on a school day. She welcome me home. Better than 1000 parades

Not a happy sight, at least to me, but very demonstrative of Vietnam and your little sister's feelings. Actually quite thought provoking coming from a 14 year old's mind and emotions.

7/68 was my deros as well. The 13th to be exact.
I felt pretty uncomfortable in that room for some strange reason...lol

Well, the chickens stuff come home to roost. The mailman came down my driveway this PM and delivered a package to me, ha ha. The farked feelings have come 360 degrees. Picture me 57 years ago, watching StarTrek for the first time, my eyes cycling from Ohura's nacelle's, to a peaceful IndoChina, as interpreted by my family and the rest of the country. Strange World. Love my Sis...
