Well I finally ponied up and got some grips for her. I hope to get nicer ones in the future. She dates back to 67. I got a wicked sweet deal on her about a year ago. Click on thumbnail for larger pic.

You got my attention...now 'splain how you get that big cartridge in that little gun.[rofl]

.357 snubbies are very handy little guns and that is certainly a nice one. A Tyler T-grip adapter will make it a lot easier to shoot but not any harder to pack.

Nice gun. This brings up a question. Over Xavier Thoughts, Xavier blogs about the Model 19 and comments that barrels are no longer available. When we went on the factory tour a few months ago, I got the impression that they could make just about any part needed to repair one of their products, even an old one. Was I mistaken about that?

Those pictures don't do this gun justice. I had the opportunity to see it at the NES
spring shoot and the gun is near perfect. Great gun B.J., treasure it 'cause they
don't make them like that any more.

There were so many of these made that I would think you could come up with a parts barrel
and do a refinish on it. Expect to pay good money for the barrel though. As for S&W coming
up with barrels for older guns, call Customer Support and they will tell you. I would not take
the writings of a blogger for gospel, ever.

Yes I called then for a hammer and trigger for a 1926 2nd edition and they told me to search the Internet.

Very, very nice.

For some excellent grips that both control and conceal very well, try these:
