The back rail came with it from the factory in the box, just needed fitting, which has an Aimpoint ML 3 on it.
The fore rail is from UltiMAK, a M4S.
This fore rail has a Leapers UTG 3 slot angled mount on it, then the Surefire X400 Ultra on top, to keep it out of the way of the Aimpoint, but in the right place for activation.
The sling is a Specter CQB 3 Point, with emergency buckle.

This combo works well for rapid acquisition in any light, very happy with the set-up.

minute of barn

some don't, evidently.... I've never witnessed this first hand, though.

boston = you have only a few options. So remember that. And on that thought...

boston legal, and it has all the rail space for all your tacticoolness. It also has polycarbonate quick clips and nylon straps. And it hits a barn.

This one has also been properly raped. Long story.

I think the Mini-14 has a reputation the post 2008 model doesn't deserve, it's accurate enough at 100-200 yards for any use, if you need more than that go bolt action. With the thicker barrel the temp rise is not such a problem.
I've found it more than accurate enough for my use so far.
