So Ive been looking for a new range to go and shoot at. Trying to get an out door range so I can sight in some hunting gear as well as practice shooting on a fairly regular basis. Not looking to deal with meetings or work parties as I am already employed full time. Looking for something straight forward that doesnt involve the clowns you get at places like MFS. Any reccomendations for things with minimal hassle?

Every range, even those at private clubs, has its share of clowns. Some more than others, but you won't avoid it until you build your own range.

Nearly every private club I'm aware of has some sort of "meeting" requirement in order to join, but after that all meetings and work parties are optional.

That makes sense. I see positive reviews for HSA and southboro. Any experience with Marlboro Gun Clubs?

North Leominster. 200 yd rifle range, a few outdoor pistol ranges, trap, skeet, archery, clays.....
i was never a fan of the club work parties back in the day when I worked second shift and didn't have weekends off. I could never get to any of them so instead when I was done shooting I'd grab a rake or a broom and police up the range. Sometimes I’d empty the trash bbls and take them out. Whatever I could do to help support the club that supports my lifestyle.

Hopkinton, great club. I grew up in Marlboro so know MFG and Riverside, I prefer Hopkinton. Indoor center fire, 200 yard rifle (both require qualification) as well as 5 outdoor pistol bays with year round steel. Post if you want a visit and you will get plenty of offers, myself included.

Worcester Pistol and rifle. No requirements after the initial meeting and orientation. For the most part no BS. It is a place to shoot, period. 24X7X365 indoor heated range, daylight hours outdoor range.
