Need To Talk With Some AR15 People

I just got a stag striped lower and want to build my first AR. I was hoping to find a few people on here with a lot of AR knowledge that I cant PM with. I am a complete noob to the AR, so I have a lot of noob question for 1 or 2 people that dont mind.

I was there and registered but I need help with MA laws. I would also like to try and find someone local, to help me out with upper assembly and head spacing.

I was looking at the DPMS A3 20" Parts Kit for $510.00. Now if I bought this all I would have to do is grind off bayo lug and weld on a muzzle brake right? Then it would be MA compliant?

If its a new barrel/bolt you shouldn't need to headspace. If you want to anyway its quite easy.

Yeah, pretty much... make sure you look up what legally is required to secure the break, I think pin and weld or silver solder are the two common options. I'm unsure if both options are MA compliant.

You might be able to find a kit thats already MA ready.
