TISAS Turkish Commander size 1911 forged slide, frame and barrel. Very good trigger and tight action for the money. The standard GI is $429 the was $469.

Not C&R but the standard GI in both sizes would do nicely as C&R.

Nice , IDK why but Im always thrown off by the commander length. It just registers in my brain , wrong.
Maybe its that look of slide and grip being almost the same length?

still these days a new 1911 that will function and hold up at -$750 why not

I had a couple of LW Commanders in the past one nice 1970's but i WAS ALWAYS WORRIED ABOUT THE POUNDING ON THE ALLOY FRAME.

The I got this fat boy and it just didn't hip carry well .
